Rich Products Corp., the owner of SeaPak Shrimp and Seafood Co., recently promoted Georgia Dachille to the newly created position of executive vice president, global supply chain and technology.
In addition to SeaPak, Rich’s owns brand names across the food products industry including Farm Rich, Carvel, Byron's Barbecue, F’real, Jon Donaire, French Meadow and Casa Di Bertacchi. SeaPak America’s number-one selling retail brand of specialty shrimp and has several lines of frozen seafood products, including popcorn shrimp, jumbo butterfly shrimp, shrimp poppers, clam strips, crab cakes, fish and salmon burgers and fish bites made with Alaska pollock.
Dachille, who was previously senior vice president of finance and business development for the Buffalo, New York-based global food company, now has global responsibility for the development of Rich’s supply chain and technology strategies. She will also oversee development of best practices for accelerating collaboration and innovation across the company’s regional businesses and global functions.
“The new global supply chain and technology function under Georgia’s authority was created to increase global collaboration and further leverage our investments in supply chain and innovation technology,” Rich Products President and CEO Bill Gisel.
In her previous position, Dachille had financial oversight of the company’s five global divisions. She also had responsibility for both Rich’s international marketing team and its new platform acceleration team, as well as for global TCCS initiatives.
As part of the restructuring, Rich's also promoted Paul Klein, previously senior vice president and chief process & information officer, to the new role of executive vice president, chief information and strategy officer. Klein’s new position makes him responsible for global strategic planning and information systems at Rich’s.
