Seafood industry leaders on the move - Vol. IV

3_GAA.png.medium.800x800.pngPeter Carpenter | Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification manager for the Global Aquaculture Alliance ◊ With 30 years of seafood industry experience under his belt, Peter Carpenter is coming to the Global Aquaculture Alliance, where he will serve as the new certification manager for its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) program. Carpenter most recently worked for Aqua Star, where he was the director of quality assurance and sustainability from 2007 to 2012, and then a consultant from 2012 to 2015. Fishery Products International in Danvers, SeaWise and National Sea Products (now High Liner Foods) also had Carpenter on staff during his storied career.

“We are pleased to have Peter join our team of talented women and men at the GAA as we continue our advocacy for sustainable and responsible aquaculture,” said GAA Executive Director Wally Stevens. “His extensive experience in all aspects of the seafood industry will serve us well.”
