New Hires and Moves

4_SL_Ruth.pngRuth Levy → Departing her position as Chief Business Officer for Stavis Seafoods ◊ After spending 27 years with Boston-based Stavis Seafood, Ruth Levy is stepping down. The storied seafood executive, who once captained a fishing boat out of college before entering the New England seafood processing realm, is taking a hiatus from the industry, but wouldn’t be opposed to someday returning if the conditions are right.

“It has been a wonderful career at Stavis,” Levy said. “I have achieved a lot and been able to travel the world as I visited all of our sources of production, but it is time to move on."

Career Highlights: Captained a fishing boat; worked for Sysco out of Texas before joining Stavis Seafoods in 1988.
