Sysco's top seafood suppliers of 2016

Major North American food distributing enterprise Sysco Corporation has come out with its annual list of suppliers who have gone above and beyond company standards and expectations, honoring these partners across multiple industries during the 2016 Sysco Supplier Excellence Awards dinner event held in Houston, Texas last week.

This year’s top suppliers – selected from a pool of more than 1,300 eligible businesses – have been recognized by Sysco for their exemplary commitment, support and partnership. Each award winner was selected based on “key business performance measures as prescribed by Sysco's U.S.-based distribution companies and the company’s corporate Merchandising, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain departments,” said Sysco.

Dairy company Michael Foods Inc. took home top honors, being named as Supplier of the Year for excelling in areas such as sales growth, profitability, Sysco Brand sales and overall support of Sysco and its customers.
