Trident once again finds itself in Sysco’s good graces, earning a Seafood Bronze distinction from the food distributing giant in 2016 (last year, the company was named Seafood’s Silver award recipient). Renowned for its value-added business, and a juggernaut in the Alaskan sector, Trident features a variety of seafood species in its product portfolio including crab, canned sockeye salmon and frozen Bristol Bay sockeye, as well as surimi (SEALEGS), herring and groundfish. The company, which was founded in 1973, remains focused on food safety, and is considered as one of the largest seafood suppliers in North America and the world.
