New Red Lobster promo highlights Maine lobster

Maine lobster is featured in some of the new and returning dishes for Red Lobster’s Lobsterfest, which starts Monday, 28 January.

The Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.-based restaurant chain, which operates more than 750 restaurants, is running its popular promotion through 14 March.

One of the dishes featured in this year’s Lobsterfest is Lobster In Paradise, which includes crispy coconut Maine lobster tail along with Maine lobster meat and shrimp in a pineapple beurre blanc sauce, reports Delish.com. The dish is served with a chili-ginger grilled shrimp skewer, rice, and a side.

The chain’s new Red Lobster Signature Creamy Lobster Alfredo includes lobster, tomatoes, and linguini. In addition, Red Lobster switched up this year’s Ultimate Lobsterfest Surf and Turf include wood-grilled sirloin with three kinds of lobster, mashed potatoes, and a side. Last year, the dish came with a choice of three meats, according to Delish.

Cauliflower Au Gratin is the new side dish for the promotion. 

Dishes returning to the Lobsterfest menu include: Lobster Lover's Dream, which has two kinds of lobster as well as lobster and shrimp linguini; the Ultimate Feast, which includes lobster, crab, shrimp scampi, and Walt's Favorite Shrimp; Lobster-Topped Tilapia; Seaport Lobster and Shrimp; and Red Lobster’s Classic Surf and Turf, which has a lobster tail and wood-grilled sirloin.
