Bakkafrost Group harvested 7,200 metric tons (MT) of gutted weight salmon in the third quarter of this year, down from 11,600 MT in the corresponding period of 2017.
The contribution to the total from the Faroese company’s farming operations in the north of the Faroes amounted to 6,200 MT, while its farms in the west supplied 1,000 MT.
Bakkafrost’s total expected harvest volume for 2018 is 49,000 MT.
It also sold 23,500 MT of feed in the last quarter.
