The Nanoculture Project: Exploring the Impacts of Nanoparticles on Seafood | Product

$30.00

The use of metallic nanoparticles is growing exponentially due to proven improvements in a variety of industrial applications. However, studies to understand the impacts of nanoparticles on the environment are lagging behind the rapid increase in utilization.

The NanoCulture project has set out and produced results on nanoparticles in three areas, with a focus on Atlantic aquaculture: Bioaccumulation of nanoparticles in aquaculture products, the human risk of oral intake of aquaculture products, and developing sensors to rapidly identify the presence of nanoparticles in aquaculture facilities.

Join NanoCulture Project lead and Group Leader in Water Quality at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Centre Begona Espina as they review the findings on how nanoparticles are impacting Atlantic aquaculture.
