This chowder, which won three awards in the 2010 Alaskan Symphony of Seafood Competition, has been served since 1938. Now, Ivar’s sells it to grocery stores and other restaurants, in addition to serving the filling chowder at many of its restaurants. Ingredients include potatoes, smoked salmon, garlic, onion, celery, spices, roasted red bell pepper purée and cream.
