Seafood Expo North America – Expo Preview

We look forward to welcoming you next week to the 36th edition of Seafood Expo North America / Seafood Processing North America in Boston. This year’s exposition will be the largest in the event’s history in terms of exhibit space and with over 1244 exhibitors from 50 countries, more business and networking opportunities will take place during the three-day event.

There’s a lot to see and do at the expo!

The conference program is full of educational sessions and includes a keynote presentation from Kent Greenfield, Professor of Law and Dean’s Research Scholar at Boston College Law School. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Annual Oyster Shucking Competition. Don’t miss this exciting race against time to see who will earn the title of the fastest shucker in the East. Other special events will take place in the demonstration theater, such as master classes featuring octopus and oysters. Join us on Sunday afternoon for the Seafood Excellence Awards competition. The Awards will be presented to two companies for the “Best New Retail Product” and “Best New Foodservice Product”. In addition to the New Product Showcase, we are introducing the Featured Product Showcase, which will display exhibitors’ finest products represented at the event, regardless of the products’ introduction date to the market.

We invite you to stop by the interactive kiosks in the SeafoodSource.com official media booth, #1301, to learn more about the recently launched Seafood Marketing Specialist Certificate program and the benefits of becoming a Premium Member.
