Dundee, Scotland-based aquaculture technology company Ace Aquatec has named Alan MacLeod Chief Financial Officer.
The company, which produces award-winning humane stunning systems for aquaculture producers, said, in a release, that MacLeod’s appointment would “support [the company’s] global growth strategy.”
MacLeod brings two decades of experience in financial leadership across the technology, construction, energy, and oil and gas sectors. His most recent role was at N4 Partners, a Glasgow-headquartered investment firm. Prior to his time at N4, MacLeod was CFO at Allrig.

Ace Aquatec CEO Nathan Pyne-Carter said that McLeod’s experience in the financial sector would be “invaluable” for the business.

Ace Aquatec has announced a number of high-profile projects in recent months, from a partnership with the Shrimp Welfare Project, to bespoke stunning systems for finfish farmers, and a strategic partnership with JBT Marel that will make Ace Aquatec the preferred supplier of fish stunning solutions for the global food processing equipment manager.
