Vancouver-based aquaculture company AgriMarine Holdings on Thursday announced it entered into a letter of intent to acquire Middle Bay Properties from Theanon Charitable Foundation for CAD 1.25 million.
Middle Bay is the marine site of AgriMarine’s closed containment salmon rearing technology at Campbell River, British Columbia, the only urban Canadian city that has licensed salmon aquaculture within city boundaries.
The purchase would make AgriMarine the sole owner of the land and water rights at its Middle Bay site.
