Counterfeiting remains a problem across China’s economy and the aquaculture sector is being affected, as a leading provider of seedlings to fish farms has launched a hotline for fish farmers to report sales of fake versions of its carp seedlings.
Fo Shan City San Shui Bai Jin Shui Chan Zhong Miao Seedlings Co. has issued a statement warning of “fake” versions of its ‘Bai Jin’ brand carp seedlings and encouraged fish farmers to report sightings or purchases of the fingerlings.
