Harvest Select promotes creation of U.S. jobs

Harvest Select Catfish has initiated a campaign promoting the development of industry and jobs in the United States.

A promotional logo has been created representing the catfish farming and processing industry’s commitment to U.S. communities. It will be used on billboards, trucks, print material and other media.

“This promotional campaign is another way our company is taking a proactive approach to making the public aware that the development and sustainability of jobs and industry in our local communities is our future,” said Randy Rhodes, Harvest Select president. “We’ve always believed that when quality products are made in America, it creates opportunities for our local communities in the form of new industry and new jobs.”

In January, Harvest Select was the world’s first catfish producer to receive Best Aquaculture Practice certification. The company has farms in Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas and processing facilities in Uniontown, Ala., and Eudora, Ark.
