Rabobank’s Nikolik joins Aquaculture without Frontiers’ board of directors

Aquaculture without Frontiers (AwF) appointed Gorjan Nikolik to its board of directors. Nikolik is a senior aquaculture analyst at Dutch banking and financial services company Rabobank.

“We are very pleased that Mr. Gorjan Nikolik, senior aquaculture analyst with Rabobank, has agreed to join our board of directors. His involvement will add enormous value to our aquaculture knowledge and experience,” said Roy Palmer, executive director.

“Understanding all of the intricacies of finance and investment is an essential area and we foresee excellent opportunities to assist the various groups we are working with in our aims to alleviate poverty and hunger through capability and capacity activities in sustainable aquaculture.”

Nikolik recently spoke at the AwF general meeting during a session titled Development, Welfare & Poverty Alleviation at Aquaculture America (AA15) in New Orleans. Nikolik covered Rabobank’s involvement in various organizations. Rabobank is currently the largest agriculture bank and is in the top three banks that invest in aquaculture.
