Skaginn 3X hires new sales manager in Norway

Skaginn 3X AS has hired Kai Einar Jensen Bystrøm as its new sales manager for its Norwegian operations.

Akranes, Iceland-based Skaginn 3X is a maker chilling, freezing, and processing equipment and technology for the seafood industry. It opened an office in Norway in 2017.

Bystrøm will start 1 April, according to Magni Veturlidason, the CEO of Skaginn 3X’s Norwegian operations.

“Kai Jensen Bystrøm comes as a great asset to our operations,” Veturlidason said. “His experience and familiarity with the industry will be invaluable in strengthening the sales team here in Norway.”

Bystrøm previously worked as an operations and project manager for Lerøy Norway Seafoods in Melbu, Norway. Prior to that position, he worked as marketing manager for Melbu Systems AS.

Skaginn 3X scored a victory earlier this year in Norway when it contracted with salmon farming firm Flakstadvåg Laks to install its new SUB-CHILLING technology in its processing facility in Senja.
