Coral Gables, Florida-based Suram Trading Corp., a direct importer of frozen seafood to the United States, has announced its hiring of Dan Herring as Vice President of National Accounts.
Suram Trading owns the Royal Tiger and Royal White frozen shrimp brands and also is a supplier to additional private-label items.
Herring has more than 30 years’ experience in the seafood industry as a processor, buyer, and seller of value-added shrimp products. He began his sales career 20 years ago at Suram Trading, following a decade working in global shrimp procurement.
Herring will be a valuable part of the Suram Trading team, owner and president Guido Adler said.
“We welcome [Dan] back to the Suram team [and hope] to continue growing [our]] retail and food service business,” he said.
