Cox gets "A" rating from BRC

American seafood company Cox's Wholesale Seafood has received top marks from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) for the third year straight, according to the company.

The BRC gave Cox's its "A" rating on 30 January, the highest possible rating for food safety and quality management.

"This certification validates our commitment to continuous improvement and to supplying our customers with only the highest quality product," said David Cordy, President of Cox's Wholesale Seafood. "Maintaining our 'A' rating for three consecutive years further signifies our dedication to food safety and our commitment to quality."

The Tampa, Fla. company produces wild domestic shrimp for retail markets nationwide.
