Amazon to deal in private label grocery brands to attract millennials

Major e-commerce enterprise Amazon.com will introduce lines of private label grocery brands to its virtual shelves starting over the next couple of weeks, sources told The Wall Street Journal.

New brands like Happy Belly, Wickedly Prime and Mama Bear will be featured on the site, marketing products that include nuts, spices, tea, coffee, baby food and vitamins, diapers and detergent to start. Many speculate that the move will attract more Millennial consumers, and could expand to even more grocery products over time.

Amazon has yet to issue a comment regarding the rollout.
