Bonefish Grill thinks healthy

Bonefish Grill is reaching out to health-conscious consumers eager to improve their diets in 2010.

The casual seafood chain is promoting its seafood menu items as an easy way to dine healthier. The species include Atlantic salmon, Snake River rainbow trout, tilapia, ahi tuna, sea scallops, shrimp, mahimahi, Gulf grouper and Atlantic swordfish.

All are wood-grilled and can be served "clean" with lemon or with one of four signature side sauces: lemon butter, warm mango, chimichurri and Pan Asian. The menu also features "innovative" salads and gluten-free options.

"With the start of the new year, we strive to help our guests keep their resolve and eat well to live well," said Tim Curci, Bonefish Grill’s founder and senior VP of menu development and innovation. "We are delighted to offer our guests the freshest wood-grilled fish and seasonal vegetables, many of which are sourced from our local community purveyors. We understand the key to a balanced diet is offering our guests menu choices they should eat and want to eat. At Bonefish Grill, we provide a customizable menu and impeccable, signature service to make every day special in 2010."

Operated by Tampa, Fla.-based OSI Restaurant Partners, Bonefish Grill has more than 100 restaurants in 29 U.S. states.
