U.S. seafood chain Captain D’s is jumping into Black Friday and Cyber Monday by offering specials to bring them into the company’s restaurants during the shopping holidays.
On Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Captain D’s is giving their loyalty “D’s Club” members an exclusive offer “to encourage them to stop in during their shopping,” according to a statement from Captain D’s.
“This Black Friday, Captain D’s is encouraging folks to pass on the poultry and enjoy something different: a freshly prepared fish meal made with high quality ingredients at an affordable price,” the Nashville, Tennessee,-based operator of 528 restaurants said in a press release.
On Cyber Monday, Captain D’s is giving out special e-gift cards to the chain’s Facebook fans.
Captain D’s is also offering a seasonal special on their 10-piece Family Fish Meal, which includes 10 pieces of batter-dipped fish, two family-style sides and several hushpuppies. For USD 19.99 (EUR 17), the meal feeds a family of four to six people, according to the restaurant chain.
“The holidays are a joyous time, but as we all know too well, can also lead to not enough ‘time in the day,” Captain D’s Chief Marketing Officer Bob Kraut said. “That’s why at Captain D’s we want to help families take a moment to relax and enjoy a wholesome, quality meal together.”
