Harvest Select announced new partnerships with Star Argo Marine Exports of India and Shaw’s Southern Belle Frozen Foods Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla. Harvest Select will now offer products from both companies.
“As Harvest Select remains in a growth pattern, these ventures mark our expansion into new seafood lines which will allow us the ability to supply our customers with a more diverse product line,” said Randy Rhodes, president of Harvest Select.
Star Argo Marine Exports is an aquaculture operation specializing in a variety of farm raised shrimp. The company is BRC (British Retail Consortium)-certified and Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)-certified.
Shaw’s Southern Belle is a processor of crab cakes and other value-added seafood in the United States. The company is also a BRC-certified plant.
