Fish City Grill Opens First Louisiana Restaurant

Fish City Grill announced Wednesday it will open a restaurant in Baton Rouge on Monday, April 14. The location is the Dallas-based company's 22nd, and the first in Louisiana.

The casual seafood chain offers signature items such as Oyster Nachos, Honey Chipotle Shrimp and Serafin's Fish Tacos, in addition to daily specials.

The 2,500-square-foot Baton Rouge restaurant will be operated by franchisee Robert Marshall, founder of Brahma Management in Flower Mound, Texas. He also operates the Edmond, Okla., franchise.

"Residents of southeastern Louisiana are no strangers to delicious and quality seafood," said Marshall in a press release. "So we know the expectations of this market are high, and we are fully prepared to satisfy their appetites with some of our signature dishes."

Fish City Grill also announced it is looking into additional locations throughout Louisiana, including Denim Springs, Lafayette and Shreveport.
