National American lobster chain Lobster ME has hired the former director of the Maine Lobster Promotion Council as its VP of marketing and corporate development.
The chain, based in Portland, Maine, has hired Kristen Bailey to oversee the company’s marketing and strategic business relationships. The company is expanding, now running two restaurants and a food truck in Las Vegas, Nev., along with another restaurant in Bethesda, Md.
“We are fortunate to have an executive of Kristen’s caliber join our team,” said Jeff Fine, CEO of the Lev Restaurant Group, the chain’s parent company. “Her extensive experience developing marketing programs for established companies as well as her incredible work for the Lobster Council make her an invaluable resource as we expand Lobster ME across the country.”
Bailey will be based at the company’s office at Merrill’s Wharf in Portland.
