Hauppauge, New York, U.S.A.-based Friendly’s Restaurants is rolling out several lobster dishes as part of its special summer Lobster Festival menu.

Available now through the end of August, the restaurant chain’s summer menu includes a variety of seafood-centric dishes in addition to 12 new dishes.

"Friendly's is a staple for many communities on the East Coast … Our Lobster Festival menu accomplishes what we have always done best: bringing people together around a great meal and making summer memories that last a lifetime,” Friendly’s CEO Craig Erlich said in a press release.

The restaurant chain, which operates more than 135 restaurants, is featuring a new Lobster Roll Deluxe, which is Friendly’s Lobster Roll Classic topped with bacon and tomato.

It is also offering Fiery Lobster Pasta, which includes a spicy red pepper Alfredo tomato sauce, “heaped with hand-cut lobster meat,” the restaurant operator said.

Another new pasta on the menu is Zesty Lemon Garlic Lobster Pasta, which includes lobster meat and a creamy lemon garlic sauce. Friendly’s said it is also offering Lobster Bisque for a limited time.

While it is not a new dish, the company added that the Lobster and Shrimp Quesadilla is also being offered on the Lobster Festival menu.

“This hand-held masterpiece takes lobster and shrimp from delicious to cheesy-licious. Mixed cheese, lobster and shrimp between flour tortillas served grilled to perfection on the outside and melty on the inside,” the restaurant chain said.
