Ivar’s celebrates National Deep Fried Clam Day

Ivar’s Seafood Bars are celebrating a little known holiday, National Deep Fried Clam Day, by rewarding its customers. All diners who purchase a clam ‘n chips entrée on Nov. 1 will automatically receive a free USD 5 “clam” dining certificate good toward any order on their next visit.

The offer is available at all of Ivar’s 25 fast-casual Seafood Bars across Washington state, excluding Ivar’s stadium and full service locations.

Additionally, on the holiday, fans of the O-Fish-All Ivar’s Club Facebook page can participate in a day of trivia. Just for participating in the quiz, all fans will automatically receive a free cup of chowder with any purchase. 

“Ivar's just wouldn’t be Ivar’s without clams,” said Bob Donegan, president of Ivar’s. “We’re famous for our clam chowder, our first full-service restaurant established by our flounder, Ivar Haglund, bears the name Ivar’s Acres of Clams.
