Atlantic Cape Fisheries (ACF) of Bristol, R.I., on Monday announced that it has developed a new surf clam product to expand its distribution internationally.
The company has created an IQF Atlantic Surf Clam/Sushi Style as part of its “Happy Clam” Surf Clam line. Currently, the brand is sold in the United States, Hong Kong and China.
The surf clams are sustainably caught in waters off the coast of Massachusetts. ACF’s clam division is a major processor of hand-shucked Atlantic surf clams, with a processing facility in Bristol, R.I. ACF’s clam division also operates a fleet of clam boats as well as partners with independent clam boat owners.
