Phillips Foods Partners with Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

Phillips Foods yesterday announced a two-year partnership with Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Del., to feature a branded Phillips Seafood Restaurant concept throughout the property.

Dover Downs Hotel & Casino added a new section to its Festival Buffet incorporating the look and brand of a Phillips Seafood Restaurant. The concept will also be incorporated into other eating establishments at Dover Downs over the next two years, including the Garden Café and The Deli, as well as catering and future restaurant concepts.

"We are confident that our partnership with Dover Downs Hotel & Casino will have powerful results for both parties," says Tom Heine, Phillips' senior VP of sales. "The variety of new and exciting flavors along with Mid-Atlantic classics, especially our Maryland-style crab cakes, will be a great hit. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Dover Downs Hotel & Casino on future endeavors."

In late April, Phillips announced a partnership with Cohen Cos., owners of the Legacy Hotel, and opened a restaurant in its Rockville, Md., hotel and meeting center.
