Phillips Foods on Thursday announced the launch of its line of Seafood Cake Sliders for the foodservice market.
The line includes four varieties: crab and shrimp, salmon, lobster and crab cake.
The Crab and Shrimp Slider is a blend of crabmeat and shrimp pieces with roasted red peppers, celery, onion and Phillips' seasonings. The Salmon Slider is Atlantic salmon combined with capers, dill, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, Tabasco and breadcrumbs. The Lobster Slider is North Atlantic lobster in a mixture of mayonnaise and spices. And the Crab Cake Slider is lumps of white crabmeat in a base of mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, mustard and Worcestershire sauce and a touch of butter.
Each slider is 1.5 ounces, available in a 48-count pack size and can be baked or pan-sautéed in minutes.
