Red Lobster features lobster claw atop new beverage

Red Lobster’s new bloody mary cocktail is adorned with a lobster claw, along with a host of other ingredients.

Available from 30 December through 2 February, 2020, the United States restaurant chain’s new Lobster Claw Blood Mary is made with Tito’s vodka and Red Lobster’s bloody mary mix. The glass is topped with a chilled lobster claw, a shrimp, and a warm Cheddar Bay biscuit.

“Get the new Lobster Claw Bloody Mary and celebrate right with this 'Drink-a-tizer' today!," Red Lobster proclaimed on its Facebook page.

The cocktails’ price starts at USD 10.99 (EUR 9.84), but price varies by locations.

The drink is available in the U.S. – excluding Guam and Puerto Rico – and Canada.

With the launch of its new beverage, Red Lobster is aiming to continue strong sales after the Christmas holiday season.

In late November, the restaurant operator rolled out “Create Your Own Ultimate Feast."

The limited-time event invited guests to “create their own seafood masterpiece by mixing and matching between ten craveable seafood dishes,” Red Lobster said in a press release.

New menu items, such as Butter-Poached Maine Lobster Meat and Crab-Stuffed Shrimp Rangoon, are among the “Create Your Own Ultimate Feast” roster, as are classic Red Lobster staples like Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Wild-Caught Snow Crab Legs.
