Safe Catch, which offers canned tuna that is 100 percent mercury-tested and sustainably caught, according to the company, recently launched new flavors.
The San Francisco, California-based company’s six new Safe Catch Elite Tuna flavors include: Chili Lime, Garlic Herb, Citrus Pepper, Cajun, Tandoori and Habanero Mint.
“We looked around and all we could find were cheap flavored tunas. So, we set out to create exotic seasoned tuna the way a top chef would make it,” said Bryan Boches, co-founder of Safe Catch.
Each of the new Safe Catch Seasoned Tunas are available online and in select stores. The cans retail for an estimated US 3.99 (EUR 3.71) each.

So when it came to introducing a seasoned (not flavored) Safe Catch Elite line, we will only use natural, non-GMO ingredients that are both amazingly delicious and pure; ingredients we can recognize and trust” said Sean Wittenberg, Safe Catch co-founder and president.
