Seafood Chain Launches TV Series to Benefit Ocean Trust

Seafood restaurant chain Bonefish Grill today launched a TV series "Notes from the Road" featuring performances from musicians who are on tour in the United States, including Jason Mraz, 3 Doors Down and Gavin DeGraw.

The series appears on Ovation TV, which is distributed on cable and satellite networks, and provides a behind-the-scenes view of life on the road for musicians. Each hour-long episode is shot on location at a Bonefish restaurant. Tonight's episode at 8 p.m. ET/PT features The Bravery recorded in Atlanta.

Each episode will also highlight Ocean Trust, an award-winning ocean conservation foundation that builds science, conservation and industry partnerships for the sustainability of the oceans. The chain anticipates raising $250,000 for Ocean Trust by donating $1 from the sale of every Ocean Trust Martini sold in its restaurants.

"Music has always been an essential part of the atmosphere at our restaurants," says Bonefish President John Cooper. "So it was natural for us to host this concert series. But the real thrill is bringing our love of music and great food together with our commitment to Ocean Trust. It is gratifying to put our passions to work for such a worthy cause."

XM Radio will broadcast each episode in September on a variety of channels, including Flight 26, Ethel and Starbucks XM Cafe.
