Due date nears for US government salmon, pollock bids

The United States Department of Agriculture is asking for additional bids on canned pink salmon and frozen pollock sticks by 5 June at 1 p.m. Central Standard Time.

The new notice asks suppliers to bid on more than 518,000 pounds of frozen Alaska pollock fish sticks and nearly 295,000 cases of pink salmon.

The USDA will announce the winning bidders by midnight on 12 June. Suppliers will make deliveries between 1 July through 31 December.

Offers must be submitted electronically via USDA’s Web-Based Supply Chain Management System (WBSCM). “Offerors must be active in WBSCM and have the required bidder roles in order to submit offers under this solicitation,” the agency said.
