Commercial fisherman in the Northern Territory say it has been an exceptional year for catching salmon.
The season started in February and salmon numbers have been consistently good, they say, thanks mostly to a strong wet season.
Peter Mundy, from the Barramundi Licensing Committee, says barra catches have also been good but the real highlight has been the salmon.
