Dutch seafood supplier Culimer on Monday announced that it added ebi fry, butterfly and nobashi shrimp to its product mix.
In addition, the products are available as HLSO, PDTO, CPDTO, PD and sushi ebi. The shrimp, which are Pacific whites (Penaeus vannamei), are farmed in Vietnam according to GlobalGAP standards.
“After the introduction of GlobalGAP-certified shrimp last year, we have experienced rising demand for other high value shrimp products such as ebi fry shrimp,” said Maarten van Geest, Culimer’s communications manager.
