Next month, Fishery Products International's product line will include the Ice Shrimp brand of cooked and peeled coldwater salad shrimp with a Marine Stewardship Council label.
FPI's product is from the North Atlantic coldwater shrimp fishery in Newfoundland, which was recently certified sustainable by the MSC and is the first Canadian fishery to receive certification. The fishery boasts an annual catch of more than 170 million pounds.

Danvers, Mass.-based FPI carries more than a dozen value-added MSC-certified seafood products.
