Maine company Dorr Lobster has worked to develop the first-ever Maine branded ElastiTag.

The trademarked, waterproof tag ensures Dorr’s customers know where their lobsters are harvested. The tag not only confirms the origin of the seafood but also further promotes the Maine lobster industry. Dorr lobsters are wild caught by Maine fishermen and are harvested in a sustainable manner.

The tag features a Maine silhouette and the call to action “Buy Me,” insinuating both to buy the lobster and by Maine. In addition the ElastiTags are safe to cook and can be served to customers.

By visiting Dorr’s website, customers can use the tracking code on the tags to learn about the lobstermen and boat that harvested their seafood.
