Maine moves to capture lobster-processing market

New lobster processing plants are springing up in Maine.

Sea Hag Seafood in St. George is planning to freeze 2 1/2 million pounds of lobster products this year after opening up last summer. In Prospect Harbor, Maine Fair Trade Lobster began processing last month with nearly 100 employees.

Other plants have opened in Scarborough and Saco.
