Marine Harvest has announced it received acceptance from Morpol to acquire about 85 percent of the shares in the company.
That means, as of 26 February 2013, Marine Harvest owns 81,326,274 shares in Morpol and has entered into an agreement to acquire 61,326,274 more shares.
Marine Harvest initiated its mandatory offer for all outstanding shares in Morpol on 14 January, after it acquired 48.5 percent of shares of the company in December 2012.
