Orca Bay Seafoods promotes five employees to new roles

Renton, Washington, U.S.A.-based processor and distributor Orca Bay Seafoods announced five internal promotions on Monday, 18 July.

Dave McGee, previously controller and with 15 years of experience in the seafood industry, has been appointed chief financial officer of the company.

Scott Russell, who has worked for Orca Bay for 20 years, including the past six as operations manager, is now vice president of operations.

Former quality assurance manager Justine Reynolds is now director of quality assurance. Reynolds has 15 years of experience in quality assurance, including stints at Costco and Sysco.

Larry Colling has been promoted to senior purchasing manager after serving as manager of domestic purchasing, specializing in seafood from Alaska. Mike Holzberger will now manage imports for the company.

“Orca Bay’s key to success over the 30-plus years of our existence has always been the hard-working, innovative and dedicated people that we’ve been lucky to have with us,” Orca Bay executive vice president and chief operations officer Mike Walsh said in a press release.
