California-based Santa Monica Seafood on Wednesday announced that it opened a distribution hub in Phoenix.
The location, which features a 1,330-square-foot office space and a 3,830-square-foot warehouse space, will provide delivery four days a week to the area and houses sales and customer service offices, two loading docks and refrigerated and frozen storage.
Cindy Duncan was hired as the regional sales manager for Arizona. Previously manager of City Seafood’s operations in Arizona, Duncan will be based out of the new facility.
“We are incredibly excited to continue growing our presence in the Phoenix area,” said Dave Little, senior VP of sales and marketing for Santa Monica. “With its amazing dining scene and numerous opportunities for growth, having a permanent home here was the logical next step. We are very excited to welcome Cindy to our team. Her experience in Arizona coupled with her extensive seafood knowledge means a great deal to us and will be key to our success in this market.”
Last spring, Santa Monica opened a 3,825-square-foot distribution hub in Las Vegas.
