SeaFood Business announces staff changes

 Diversified Business Communications, parent company of Seafood Source and SeaFood Business, named Mary Larkin as publisher and Fiona Robinson as the associate publisher and editor. Bill Springer, former publisher for SFB, has taken on new responsibilities with Diversified as VP of technology.

Effective immediately, Larkin, who oversees Diversified's global seafood events and as group VP, adds SFB to her responsibilities.

"With all of the seafood products in one group, we aim to strengthen the global market coverage for the audience with print, online and face-to-face marketing through events such as the International Boston Seafood Show/Seafood Processing America and the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe," said Larkin.  

Joining Larkin in managing the publication is Robinson, who joined the magazine in 1997 as associate editor, was promoted to senior editor in 1999 and then promoted to editor-in-chief in 2000. Robinson and Larkin are both graduates of the 2001 National Fisheries Institute Future Leaders program.
