South Korea to crack down on Chinese trawlers

Korea has vowed to crack down harder on illegal fishing by Chinese trawlers in the West Sea.

??The Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries says it plans to dispatch 16 patrol ships in the peak fishing season from October to April. The ministry will also invest roughly USD 19 million (EUR 14 million) to build a 1 ton patrol ship and buy four speedboats to boost the crackdown.
