The fire that destroyed a warehouse in St. Paul in February was deliberately set, and 10 people have been charged with various crimes, according to Kevin Alberg, the island village's director of public safety.
Alberg said the criminal charges include first degree criminal mischief, second degree criminally negligent burning, second degree arson, second degree burglary, and furnishing alcohol to minors.
Alberg said he could not release much information, because of the involvement of juveniles. He said the 10 defendants are both adults and juveniles. Asked if the fire involved a party, he would only say, "you could probably deduce that."
