U.S. crabmeat supplier Bonamar Corp. restructures executive team

Bonamar Corp., a Florida-based crabmeat supplier, is restructuring its executive team to support what it expects to be continued growth in 2015.

President and CEO Argenis Contreras announced that William “Andy” Walton will remain VP-supply chain, making way for Luis Vera to be promoted to VP-operations. Vera has been the director of operations since 2009.

Hector Medellin has also joined the company in a newly created VP role, overseeing production and the quality assurance department. Medellin has served in the seafood industry at an executive level for Houston Seafood, Handy International and Phillips Foods.

Bonamar is a direct source of seafood specializing in fresh, frozen and pasteurized red and blue-swimming crabmeat. It markets and distributes its product under the Sebastian, Crystal Harbor and Pacific Harbor brands.
