Seasoft Software launches mobile fleet manager at SENA

Seasoft Software, a provider of software tools for the global seafood industry, has introduced an integrated mobile fleet manager for the 2017 Seafood Expo North America, taking place 19 to 21 March in Boston, Massachusetts.

Seasoft’s Mobile Fleet Manager dispatch and delivery solution is designed to assist seafood processors and distributors in optimizing route sequencing, tracking delivery vehicles, make better estimates of estimated time-of-arrivals, heightened productivity and reduction of fuel expenses, it said in a press release.

Seasoft's other industry-specific software tools are designed to help its clients automate business processes, reduce operating costs and maximize customer service. Its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwarewas designed specifically for the seafood industry, and is used by hundreds of seafood companies to increase profits through superior inventory control and warehouse management, traceability, chain of custody and other industry standards, and flexible deployment options.

“[We help meet] the challenges of weight-based, commodity-priced seafood products where yields, lot and portion control, by-product accounting, settlement processing and multiple freezer and warehouse locations are essential, whether you deal with fresh or frozen, wild or farm-raised [seafood],” the company said in its release.
