The sixth Offshore Mariculture Conference took place in 2016, highlighting an array of innovative designs and techniques now available in aquaculture.
One such innovation, Ocean Farm Technologies’ Aquapod, is appropriately dome-shaped and allows for dive teams and biologists to monitor them from above and below the surface. The cages are said to be suited for open ocean conditions and a diversity of species.
