Harvest Select Catfish of Uniontown, Ala., on Monday announced it will be featured on a History Channel program.
Food Tech is a documentary series hosted by Bobby Bognar that looks at food production. The Harvest Select episode will feature catfish.
Bognar participated hands-on with each operational phase at Harvest Select. The show will also feature the company’s hatcheries and farming operations, processing facility and transportation fleet.
“We are excited to have been chosen to be featured in this upcoming show and look forward to the opportunity to promote and educate the public about U.S. farm-raised catfish,” said Randy Rhodes, Harvest Select president. “We are proud to be one of the few vertically integrated catfish companies in the industry and are honored to work with the History Channel to tell our story.”
The episode is scheduled to air in this summer or fall.
