Captain D's names new COO, VP of company operations
Captain D’s has promoted Tim Ward to chief operating officer and Andy Castle to vice president of company operations.
The U.S. seafood restaurant chain also promoted David Rentschler to director of operations for the Nashville–Knoxville–North and South Carolina District, and Jen Daley was promoted to Knoxville area director.

Tim Ward, who joined Captain D’s seven years ago, most recently served as vice president of company operations. In his new role, Ward will oversee all company and franchise operations, as well as implement strategies to further heighten system-wide operations, guest service and unit-level economics, according to Captain D’s.
Andy Castle, who began working at Captain D’s five years ago as area director in Middle Tennessee, and has more than a decade of experience working in fast-casual restaurant companies. His new responsibilities will include management staffing and development, ensuring proper food handling procedures and practices, and meeting and exceeding sales and profit targets.
