New CFO appointed by Young’s Seafood

U.K. seafood supplier Young’s Seafood Ltd. has announced the appointment of Tim Busby as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) following a comprehensive search process. His appointment will take effect on 2 January 2018.

Young’s is a business with a high capability and a reputation for quality across multiple categories supplying into the retail and foodservice sectors. The company is making significant progress in executing its strategic plan and I am very much looking forward to playing a role in driving the business forward,” said Busby.

With extensive U.K. and international experience, Busby has worked in the food and consumer-facing industries for 18 years. He currently holds a directorship at Hallmark, where he is responsible for the finance and strategy of the international group of companies. He previously worked for six years with the Orangina Schweppes Group as group finance director and prior to this undertook a number of senior finance roles across Cadbury Schweppes.

Busby is to succeed Young’s current CFO, Malcolm Lofts, who will retire from the role and as a board member on 31 December 2017. Lofts will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity.
